# Lesson plan: What is Bhāva? > **Status:** Published · Bhāva-original Learning derivative > **Canonical source:** Knowledge guide `what-is-bhava` (`kl-about-bhava`) > **Downloads:** none — read this page in Learning; do not treat markdown as a printable pack PDF ## Learning objective By the end of this short session, learners can explain that Bhāva is an independent curated **devotional learning** portal that begins with child-friendly Krishna Book bedtime stories, keeps source fidelity and human review before public release, and is **not** an official BBT publication. ## Audience - Facilitators: teachers, Sunday School, Gurukula / homeschool - Learners: ages 10+ (with adult support for younger listeners) ## Materials (available now) - Public Knowledge page: `/knowledge/what-is-bhava` - Optional: Krishna Book story library — `/library/krishna-book` - Optional: Printables hub for released story assets — `/printables` ## Session outline (20–30 minutes) 1. **Opening (3 min)** — Ask: “When you hear ‘Bhāva,’ what do you think it is?” Collect a few words without correcting yet. 2. **Read the guide together (8 min)** — Read the public What is Bhāva? Knowledge guide aloud or silently. Pause on three ideas: independent curated portal; Krishna Book bedtime stories; source fidelity + human review. 3. **Clarify the boundary (5 min)** — Discuss: Bhāva does not republish full copyrighted books and is not an official BBT publication. Why does that matter for trust? 4. **Practice (5–8 min)** — In pairs, each learner finishes one sentence: - “Bhāva helps families by …” - “Bhāva is careful about sources because …” - “Bhāva is not …” 5. **Closing (2 min)** — Invite one volunteer to share a careful, accurate summary in their own words. ## Facilitator notes - Stay with the Knowledge guide. Do **not** invent scripture quotes or attribute teachings to sources that are not on the page. - If learners ask for downloads: point to real Printables for released stories; this lesson plan itself has `downloadable: false`. ## Source lineage | Field | Value | | --- | --- | | Canonical record | `what-is-bhava` / `kl-about-bhava` | | Record version | `published-public-v1` | | Origin | Bhāva-original expression adapted from approved Knowledge | | Review state | `published` | | Visibility | `public` |
